NE Snowstorm: One Million Without Power
They've been calling in a snow "hurricane" -- and the 90 mph winds in Portsmouth, N.H. overnight made the term legitimate. ABC News counted more than 500,000 homes and businesses without power -- probably more than a million people affected. Transportation in the New York City area was crippled in many places. The storm was dissipating, but also spreading. There was heavy snow as far west as Ohio.
