Air Controller Snoozes as Plane Tries to Land

April 14th, 2011 ABC News: Travel For the third time in less than two months an air traffic controller was caught sleeping on the job. The controller at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is believed to have nodded off on Wednesday morning and was out of communication for approximately 16 minutes. A plane, unable to reach the controller, landed at the airport without assistance or permission from the control tower.
